Maintenance Engineer

• You have a completed HBO/WO degree in engineering (preference for mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, maintenance management)

As a maintenance engineer, you are responsible for optimizing and continuously improving asset maintenance. You ensure that assets operate in an efficient and safe manner, so that production processes can run optimally. With your maintenance plans and maintenance strategy, you ensure maximum availability of the assets. In doing so, you look primarily at the costs and efficiency of the various assets, but safety and the environment are also important, so you must certainly not forget to include those.
To arrive at the best maintenance strategy, you will collaborate with various departments. In SAP, you will implement your improvements and secure the maintenance optimizations. Your maintenance strategy will be the basis for the management and maintenance of the assets.

As a maintenance engineer, your tasks will include:

• Collaborating well with other specialists within the company
• Establishing & advising on the right maintenance strategy per asset and translating this into workable and clear maintenance plans
• Planning and coordinating preventive maintenance on assets by performing the correct analyses
• Analyzing existing maintenance and continuously improving it
• Ensuring and integrating legal obligations into the maintenance strategies
