Individual Healthcare Provider (Verzorgende IG) in Rotterdam

As an Individual Healthcare Provider, you provide personal care and perform nursing technical tasks, such as administering medication, wound care, and injections. In doing so, you always look at what someone can and wants to do themselves.

You guide residents in their daily lives, identify changes in health or behavior, and know how to deal with misunderstood behavior. You make time for a chat, a moment of attention, or a shared activity.

With 6 to 8 residents per living group, you are closely involved and can truly be a familiar face. You work independently and in collaboration with colleagues, practitioners, and loved ones to create a safe, warm, and valuable day for the residents.

De Berberishof is located quietly next to the Schiebroekse Park and accommodates 40 residents, divided into 6 living groups. The small scale ensures a personal atmosphere, in which you get to know the residents and colleagues well.

With us:

• you work with residents with dementia;

• you work independently and as part of a dedicated team;

• you get space to practice your profession and contribute ideas;

• roster preferences are open for discussion;

• you work shifts of 7 or 8 hours, so no split shifts.

The location is easily accessible by car, bus, and tram. There are private parking facilities and a bus stop around the corner.

You are reliable, independent, and keep your appointments. You have a caring heart, see the person behind the resident, and know that someone with dementia sometimes shows what they need in a different way.

You are flexible, think in terms of possibilities, and can handle misunderstood behavior well. At the same time, you are a true team player: you help colleagues, share your knowledge, and feel collectively responsible for good care.

• Salary according to CAO VVT FWG 35/40 (€17.48 - €24.69 gross per hour / €2,735.91 - €3,864.43 based on 36 hours per month);

• Irregularity allowance (ORT) on top of your salary;

• Annual contract with a view to permanent employment;

• 8% holiday allowance + 8.33% end-of-year bonus;
