This assignment runs for a longer period, 24 to 32 hours per week, at one location in Breda. You will become part of the team. No changing faces, no constant retraining.

You will be working in an open ward for seniors with severe psychiatric disorders, where the recovery process has temporarily stalled. Work is carried out according to the ART model, Active Recovery in the Triad, in which recovery, self-management, and collaboration with the client and their network are central.

The ward consists of small-scale residential units with a communal living room, where supervision is present 24 hours a day. In addition to treatment and guidance, much attention is paid to meaningful daily activities, where recovery-oriented activities are tailored to the wishes and possibilities of the client. You will work in a multidisciplinary team including agogen, nurses, healthcare assistants (IG), activity coordinators, a specialist in geriatric medicine, and a nurse practitioner.

• Guiding and supporting clients according to the principles of the ART model.
• Observing, signaling, and reporting changes in mental and physical health.
• Supporting the drafting, implementation, and evaluation of guidance and treatment plans.
• Stimulating independence, self-management, and participation in recovery-oriented activities.
• Collaborating with colleagues, practitioners, activity coordinators, and loved ones to provide appropriate care.

You build a bond with the same clients and you see the results of your guidance. You work according to a schedule that you know in advance.

You will be employed on a secondment basis by GOED. and work for the client. Your salary, your contract, and your guidance are managed through us.

• Salary in accordance with the CAO Mental Health Care, classification in job group 50: €3,560 to €4,716 gross per month based on 36 hours. Amounts as of July 1, 2026. Classification depends on your diploma and your experience.
• 8.33% holiday allowance, 8.33% year-end bonus, and irregularity allowance: 22% in the evening, 44% at night, 38% to 49% on Saturday, and 60% on Sunday and public holidays. A Sunday shift therefore yields up to €44.43 per hour.

• A completed mbo level 4 or hbo education as a Nurse or Agoog.
• Experience with or affinity for GGZ and the EPA target group.
• A recovery-oriented and client-centered working attitude.
• Good communication skills and the ability to switch gears quickly.
• A calm and professional attitude, even under pressure, with which you offer clients the necessary peace and security.
• Experience within psychiatry is a plus.
