You have a completed HBO degree in Social Work (with an outflow profile Care / GGZ-agoog), Social Work & Services (MWD), Social Pedagogical Assistance (SPH), or a post-HBO education as a GGZ-agoog.
Since you do not have a nursing background as an agogic casemanager, we would like to discuss with you the possibility of becoming authorized and competent in the specific nursing technical procedures that occur within the crisis service (such as medication administration).
You are flexibly deployable for an irregular schedule (early shifts, late shifts, and night shifts).
You possess a car and a driver's license.
Working where things get intense. Where every decision has an impact and where you, in the midst of the chaos, are the one who brings calm. As a GGZ-agoog / casemanager at the SPAA (Crisis Service Amsterdam), you provide structure, stability, and care to clients in acute crisis situations. You observe quickly, signal sharply, and de-escalate where necessary. You do this not alone, but within a close-knit, multidisciplinary team. Within that team, your agogic perspective and observations in the chaos make the difference.
The SPAA (Crisis Service Amsterdam & IHT) offers acute psychiatric help to clients who are in a severe crisis. No two days are the same here. You work in an irregular, dynamic, and highly educational environment in which you deal directly with crisis situations in all areas of life.
Outpatient crisis stabilization: Treatments and assessments take place as much as possible in the client's own environment or at our locations. The goal is to assess the situation quickly and to get the client stable again as soon as possible.
Broad collaboration: Intensive collaboration takes place with the client, their loved ones, and vital chain partners in the Amsterdam region, such as the police, ambulance, and GPs. Furthermore, outside of office hours, the crisis service acts as a lookout for the nearby addiction care services.
Multidisciplinary team: You will join an expert team consisting of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, mental health psychologists, junior doctors, (outpatient) nurses, and doctors in training. Together, you carry a great responsibility.
In close collaboration with the lead practitioners, you tackle various aspects of the acute care process. This includes, among other things, crisis assessments, intakes, home visits, and providing short-term, intensive guidance and stabilization.
Innovation on the work floor: You are stepping in at the right time! As of June, we are working with the AI tool voice-controlled reporting. Less administrative pressure, so that you have more time for the client. Exactly as it should be.
Calm in the chaos: You are stress-resistant, empathetic, and can switch gears quickly. You have an eye for the client's full story and their network, even when the situation is complex or tense.
Personal growth: Your development is a priority for us. With us, you are given the space to, for example, follow a training in Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT).
Obtaining medication authorization: We offer the possibility of following an internal medication training. Do you have other wishes or ideas for your learning path? Fedde Makker (manager Crisis Service & IHT) and the team are happy to think along with you.
You will immediately receive a permanent employment contract.
The position is scaled in FWG 55 in accordance with the GGZ collective labor agreement.

With #Geestverwanten, we show who we really are: people who take care blood-seriously, but who, fortunately, do not always take themselves seriously. Especially now that healthcare is working hard, we are looking for colleagues who understand that laughing is at least as important as listening.
