Completed training as a Mental Health Nurse Specialist (BIG-registered)
Experience with mood disorders and specialist mental health care is a plus
Experience with pharmacotherapy and somatic screening
Independent, but also a team player
Innovative and interested in treatment development
Do you want to work in a friendly team, with clients with varied issues and plenty of room to develop yourself? Are you a progressive nurse specialist who loves to combine working with clients with innovation and scientific research? Do you work independently and believe in blended working? Then apply for this position as a Mental Health Nurse Specialist at our Depression Outpatient Clinic (TOP GGz) GGz inGeest
You will work at the depression outpatient clinic with the TOPGGZ quality mark, which means that we combine highly specialized, evidence-based client care with the development of new treatment methods, scientific research, and structural knowledge transfer. You will contribute to the development of new methods, such as at the Esketamine Clinic, and will play an active role in this.
You offer specialized care to adults aged 18 and over with complex, sometimes treatment-resistant, depression including psychiatric and (relevant) somatic comorbidity.
You will do this together with an enterprising multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse specialists, psychomotor therapists, drama therapists, physicians, and colleagues in training, where you will work closely with the academic depression workshop.
As a nurse specialist, you will work as a lead practitioner and will be involved in, among other things, care coordination, diagnostics, drawing up and evaluating treatment plans, and co-shaping treatment, including medicinal interventions.
In collaboration with the psychiatrists and psychologists, you will discuss the intake results and, from your own field of expertise, formulate diagnoses.
You share your knowledge and offer support in the development and implementation of treatment strategies and actively contribute to developments in policy and quality of care. You also contribute to the training climate for the nurse specialist in training.
At GGZ inGeest, we treat clients with trauma according to the Trauma First vision, even in cases of comorbidity. Those seeking depth can participate in the intensive Trauma Train, a collaborative program between teams and clusters.
