As a Strategic Asset Manager, you are responsible for an assigned part of our heat infrastructure. Your asset portfolio consists of multiple heat networks and the associated production, distribution, and auxiliary installations. These assets provide complete neighborhoods, districts, and businesses with heat. Consequently, you have a direct impact on a reliable, affordable, and sustainable heat supply for thousands of customers.

From your leadership role, you steer towards the optimal balance between performance, risks, costs, sustainability, and compliance throughout the entire lifecycle of the assets. You develop investment and asset strategies that safeguard the reliability and availability of our infrastructure while simultaneously meeting laws and regulations, permit requirements, and our sustainability ambitions.

In this role, you work closely with colleagues from Operations & Services, Engineering, Realization, Energy Management, Operational Data Management, and Finance, and you form part of the Strategic Asset Management team. With an integrated perspective, you translate strategic objectives into asset management plans, investment programs, and long-term choices that contribute to a future-proof heat infrastructure. To achieve this:

• You develop and update your Asset Management Plans (AMPs) for your asset portfolio;

• You analyze performance, risks, and asset data and translate insights into improvement and investment proposals;

• You develop lifecycle, maintenance, replacement, and investment strategies for the long term;

• You build business cases and steer based on KPIs regarding safety, reliability, sustainability, and costs;

• You collaborate with stakeholders on the further professionalization of Asset Management and data-driven decision-making;

• You periodically contribute to the continuity of our heat supply via the phase 2 consignment service.
