Junior Operator

As a Junior Operator, you will work from our Business Operations Center (BVC) in Sint‑Michielsgestel. Together with about 15 colleagues, you will work in a 5-shift roster, with always 3 operators per shift. You will support the remote management of our generation and distribution installations for our heat networks throughout the Netherlands. You will start with clearly defined tasks, work under the guidance of experienced Operators, and follow training programs to develop step-by-step towards independent deployment. In this junior position, you will perform operational activities that contribute to the safe and reliable functioning of our installations. Your tasks include:

• Operating sub-processes from the BVC or on-site according to fixed procedures.

• Monitoring smaller installations spread across the Netherlands, where you handle notifications correctly and signal and escalate standard deviations in a timely manner.

• Supporting the monitoring of larger generation sites such as Enschede, Eindhoven, the Amergebied, and Helmond.

• Executing basic instructions for starting and stopping sub-processes according to the operating plan.

• Short daily consultations with local managers and experienced Operators to coordinate follow-up actions.

• Creating correct notifications and actions in the asset management system.

• Registering the presence of employees at various locations according to safety procedures.

• Fully participating at the Reporting Point after your induction period.

A driven Operator with a completed MBO3 education in the direction of AOT, Process Technology (Vapro B), or willing to follow a training program, who wants to join our team full-time. Furthermore, you are:

• An eager-to-learn starter with ambition to develop who is open to feedback;

• Some affinity with or experience in the energy sector is a plus;

• Strong communicatively, both orally and in writing, in the Dutch language;

• Resourceful and a self-starter.
