The role

Are you an experienced work preparer with a passion for technology? And do you want to work together with a close-knit and ambitious team on large, complex, and sustainable multi-story residential projects or non-residential construction in the Amsterdam region? As a work preparer at Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Amsterdam, you will get the chance to sink your teeth into technically challenging projects, devise innovative solutions, and continuously develop yourself.

What you'll do

As a work preparer, you are the right hand of the project leader and the director of the entire technical construction process (with a focus on time, money, and technology). Within Dura Vermeer, you work with the latest technologies, including BIM. Together with a BIM coordinator, you guide the entire architectural process. You ensure that all disciplines—architectural, structural, and installation technology—are coordinated in detail. You do this using drawings, models, and your sharp technical eye. You also create schedules and compile production-ready technical drawings for the execution team.

Additionally, you handle the procurement preparation and monitor the financial progress of the project. You love technology, but you derive at least as much energy from collaboration. With external advisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and of course your own project team. You bring all stakeholders together and translate everything into one clear work plan with a flawless handover to execution.

In this way, you steer the project from start to finish, optimize processes, and contribute your technical expertise to our design and tender teams—so that together we secure even more large, iconic projects.

At Dura Vermeer Bouw Midden West, you work on projects that you see everywhere. Think of EMA in Amsterdam, the sustainable headquarters of Alliander (timber construction), the new ING office 'Linden' in Amsterdam Zuidoost, and the striking apartment complex Amstel Vista on the Amstel. How you'll work

From the brand-new Dura Vermeer office in Amsterdam or from the site office at the project location, you will get to work on various residential and non-residential construction projects in the Amsterdam region. You will do this together with driven colleagues from various disciplines. We work closely with colleagues from the construction team. Think of the project leader, site manager, and project manager. Together, we ensure solid preparation for every project. Literally from A to Z. We work using Building Information Modelling (BIM) and from multiple construction workflows.
