An HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level in the direction of technical or commercial business administration, civil engineering (or similar education).
You have relevant experience and knowledge of soil, construction, and/or secondary construction materials.
You are commercially strong, know how to build and maintain relationships, see commercial opportunities, and know how to convert them into solutions.
In addition, you possess a dose of entrepreneurship and take responsibility for projects and relationships.
You switch easily between various stakeholders such as project teams, site management, management, suppliers, and other market parties.
You advise and take initiative regarding material choices, applications, availability, and alternatives.
And you have a demonstrable affinity with circularity, sustainability, and the reuse of materials.
These requirements show the direction of the profile we are looking for in this position. Should you not recognize yourself in all the requirements, but you do think this is the position for you? Then we would love to have a conversation with you.
Do you want to apply your knowledge of soil and construction materials to projects that keep the Netherlands moving? Are you commercially strong, do you know the world of infra, and do you get energy from connecting projects, markets, and materials? At Dura Vermeer Infra Grondstoffen, you will get the freedom to identify opportunities yourself, advise on projects, and realize smart solutions. This is your chance to make a truly sustainable impact as a Construction Materials Manager.
As a Construction Materials Manager, you will be involved in diverse projects throughout the Netherlands on behalf of Dura Vermeer Infra Grondstoffen. From large national infra projects to regional works and projects within Construction and Rail. You are the advisor and knowledge leader in the field of soil and construction materials and actively seek collaboration with our project teams for this purpose. You prefer to be at the table early, when important decisions are still being made. Because that is exactly where you can make the difference.
You are not simply selling a ton of sand, gravel, or crushed aggregate. You look at the complete issue and think along about what a project truly needs. Which materials are available? What is the best technical and financial solution? Where are the opportunities for reuse, circularity, or sustainability? And how do we ensure that quality, logistics, availability, and costs align well? With your knowledge and commercial eye, you translate these questions into practical solutions that further our projects.
In addition, you move easily between different worlds. You switch between site managers, work preparers, project leaders, and purchasers, but also know how to make the connection with suppliers, producers, soil banks, processors, and transporters. You know the market, know what is happening, and actively build a network with which you can relieve the burden on projects. At the same time, you see where commercial opportunities lie for Dura Vermeer Infra Grondstoffen and know how to convert these into concrete results.
You get a lot of freedom to organize your own work and take responsibility for your area of work. We therefore expect you to go out, actively seek out projects and colleagues, and not wait until a question comes to you. You see where soil and construction materials can be used more smartly, more sustainably, or more efficiently and bring the right people together. Your goal? Ensuring our projects maintain control over soil and construction materials and that Dura Vermeer remains at the forefront of smart and sustainable solutions.

Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with committed people. That is why we invest in good employer ship and a work environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and make more together with us.

You work closely with construction coordinators, the commercial manager, and colleagues from various parts of Dura Vermeer.
