Civil Project Leader

Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for civil engineering projects? Do you have an eye for connection and collaboration, and do you want to lead projects that contribute to the energy transition and public space?

As a project manager, your focus lies on delivering high-quality projects with a positive financial result where sustainability is central. You ensure the good organization and realization of projects. This varies from small projects with a value of a few hundred thousand to larger projects up to 25 million euros.

One of the projects you will work on is "Anders Realiseren" for Enexis. Over the next three years, we are realizing three medium-voltage stations in Boxmeer, Halsteren, and Helmond. With these projects, we are making an important contribution to the energy transition. The projects combine civil engineering and utility construction. You will lead a team of two site managers and two project coordinators. You monitor progress, maintain oversight of the finances, and ensure clear reporting to the client and the organization.

You are the driving force behind the team. You lead the team and you can manage the technical aspects, but you also pay attention to the personal side and ensure connection and good collaboration. The collaboration is not only within the team, but also with the client. Working in construction teams is being applied more and more often. This ensures an efficient process in terms of, among other things, time and finances. Therefore, you also enjoy executing projects in this form and pioneering how we can utilize this even better. In addition to construction teams, we also work with other contract forms, such as RAW and UAV-GC.

You will work in the team of Dura Vermeer Infra Regional Projects South East. There is a lot of room for initiative in this team, and if you have ideas, we would love to hear them! You will also be given the opportunity by us to develop in areas where your passion lies. Our regional office is located in Den Bosch, but the region covers all of East Brabant, Limburg, and part of Gelderland. It is a plus if you live centrally in the region, as we need you on various projects.  
There are 8 project managers working in the region. At Dura Vermeer, we find collaboration and knowledge sharing important: that is why a monthly project managers' meeting is organized. Here we share experiences, discuss projects, and learn from each other. You also have regular contact with your supervisor regarding your development and progress. 
 

In addition to hard work, we find socializing important. That is why we regularly organize moments to come together, such as the monthly Friday afternoon drinks and various team activities. 

• You have an HBO (higher professional education) level of work and thinking, and preferably a completed education in civil engineering or GWW;  

• You have several years of experience managing (complex) civil engineering projects; 

• You have good leadership qualities and the ability to take your project team to a higher level;  

• You make an active contribution to the company objectives; 

• You have highly developed financial insight.

This is what we offer you  

• The salary for this position is between €5,639.81 and €8,140.20 gross per month (based on 40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience.   

• On top of the salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).   

• With a view to a long-term relationship, we offer you an indefinite contract immediately.   

• 43 leave days according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;
