Civil Engineering Project Leader

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable technical degree;

• You have experience in managing and motivating teams within road construction and know how to involve people in achieving collective goals;

• You communicate clearly and persuasively, both internally and externally, and combine this with a commercial outlook and a sense for opportunities;

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you hold ultimate responsibility for the realization of our regional projects. From the regional office, you manage the projects in your area and ensure they are executed with an optimal technical, financial, and organizational result. You monitor the quality, safety, and environmental performance of your projects and oversee compliance with all regulations. During the execution phase, you represent Ballast Nedam Infra Regional in consultations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Your responsibilities are diverse and challenging. Because in addition to your project responsibility, you will also be involved in:

• Further developing and maintaining commercial relationships with clients in your region;

• Providing advice during the tender and/or design phase regarding construction methods, work plans, and schedules;

• Promoting the well-being of all regional employees;

• Evaluating and optimizing projects both with the teams and with the client;

• Promoting the growth of your teams using the tools available within Ballast Nedam.
