Program Manager

As a Program Manager, you are responsible for the strategic management and coordination of multiple related projects that together pursue an overarching goal. You play a crucial role in realizing the strategic goals of the organization by ensuring that the projects within the program are executed effectively, synergies are utilized, and strategic benefits are achieved.

You hold ultimate responsibility for the direction, coordination, and realization of a program within Jumbo, such as the resilience and continuity program relating to the Resilience and Critical Entities Act, among others.

• You develop and lead an implementation program. You coordinate with stakeholders within Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Security, Risk & Compliance.
• You ensure the realization of risk assessments, improvement measures, and demonstrable compliance.
• You set up governance, reporting, and decision-making for the board and management.
• You safeguard the coherence with existing initiatives in the fields of Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and NIS2.
• You monitor planning, budgets, dependencies, risks, and progress.
• You prepare Jumbo for future supervisory and accountability obligations.
• You ensure the structural anchoring of resilience in processes, ownership, and the organization.

We are looking for a strong Program Manager who provides direction to organization-wide change. You are result-oriented, pragmatic, and know how to connect different interests. You can switch between the boardroom and the shop floor and are able to reduce complex issues to clear choices and concrete actions.

Furthermore, you have:

• HBO or WO working and thinking level and a minimum of 5 to 10 years of work experience with complex change and implementation programs.
• Experience within Retail, logistics, supply chain, IT, or a comparable operational environment.
• Knowledge of governance, risk management, business continuity, and compliance.
• Experience with multidisciplinary stakeholder management at senior management and board level.
• Strong communication skills and administrative sensitivity.
  The ability to translate strategy into concrete execution.
• A gross salary between €6,000 and €7,700 per month (based on 40 hours).
• An annual bonus of max 10% of your annual salary based on organizational objectives.
• 30 vacation days (with the possibility to buy or sell vacation days) and 8% holiday allowance. You build up a pension through participation in the Bedrijfstakpensioenfonds voor het Levensmiddelenbedrijf (Industry Pension Fund for the Food Industry).
