The Industrial Construction Business Unit in Rotterdam works on projects in complex operational environments. A Planning Coordinator / Design Lead who gets energy from solving complex puzzles, technically challenging designs, and multi‑stakeholder projects in dynamic environments.

As Planning Coordinator / Design Lead, you are an important link between client requirements, design, and feasibility. You ensure everything is correct before the shovel hits the ground. You:

• translate client needs into smart, buildable plans;

• lead design teams and safeguard quality, safety, and integrity;

• signal risks and opportunities and convert them into concrete measures;

• work intensively with tender teams, specialists, partners, and clients;

• monitor the information position, planning, and design processes - even when things get intense.

You will work from our Rotterdam office - the heart of Visser & Smit Bouw and the home base of the Utility Construction and Industrial Construction business units.
