The role

Transformation Enablement is a growing community within the People & Transformation team of KPMG Advisory. We are looking for professionals who are driven to tackle challenging issues for our clients and who want to contribute to the further development and impact of this community.

As a Transformation Manager, you are involved in large-scale and complex programs from day one. You bring structure and direction to program management, steer strategic stakeholder management, and ensure that changes are actually realized. You work in dynamic environments alongside colleagues and stakeholders from various disciplines. This makes the work varied, analytically challenging, and above all, impactful.

You work on assignments such as large-scale restructuring programs, recovery programs, strategic implementation programs, and deals-related projects. In every assignment, you make a visible contribution to transformations that matter to our clients.

“You work on transformations that matter – often under high pressure, but that is exactly what makes the work so meaningful. The combination of substantive expertise and the ability to provide direction, even when the route is not yet fully mapped out, makes every assignment challenging and inspiring.”
– Guido, Director People & Transformation

Within People & Transformation, you work in one integrated team, containing four Communities of Practice: Organizational Change Management, Technology Change Management, Transformation Enablement, and Culture & Strategy Alignment. These communities offer space for deepening expertise, knowledge sharing, and professional development. What connects us is a solid foundation in project and program management and knowledge of (behavioral) change to help clients move forward. We approach transformations integrally: from strategy and technology to behavior and culture.

The team is characterized by energy, craftsmanship, and a strong focus on collective impact. We believe in the power of the team and look consciously at everyone's qualities and ambitions, so that you can make an impact in a way that suits you. You work hybrid: at the client, at our office in Amstelveen, and from home. Our team is growing, and your development grows with us.

Curious about how we work? Then listen to our podcast: het Change Café, where we share experiences and insights, including practical examples.

What you'll do

  • Leading dynamic transformation projects with a structured approach, where collaboration, ownership, and guidance are central.
  • Translating strategic ambitions into concrete change initiatives, with an eye for both substantive direction and the human dynamics within organizations.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring progress and connection.
  • Switching between conceptual ways of thinking and substantive elaboration, and involving colleagues with specific expertise to arrive at supported solutions.
  • Contributing to the development and positioning of the Transformation Enablement proposition, by actively helping to build knowledge development and networks within and outside the organization.
