We are looking for an entrepreneurial professional who helps clients with complex issues and who further expands our position within environmental services, inspection services, governments, and executive organizations.

As Program Manager VTH, you are the figurehead of our field. You connect societal developments to the challenges of our clients and translate these into innovative assignments, programs, and collaborations.

You advise administrators, boards, and management teams on strategic issues within the implementation chain. At the same time, you work actively on the development of our advisory practice, acquiring new assignments, and strengthening our network.

You lead complex programs and change processes for municipalities, provinces, environmental services, ministries, and partnerships.

You will work on issues such as:

• the future of permitting, supervision, and enforcement

• the further development of environmental services

• the feasibility of policy and legislation

• intergovernmental cooperation

• governance and steering issues

• quality improvement and professionalization of VTH organizations

• the implementation and further development of the Environment Act.

In addition to advising clients, you actively contribute to knowledge development within the field. You publish, speak at conferences, and develop new propositions that contribute to the further growth of Berenschot.

Berenschot is an independent Dutch organizational consultancy firm in Utrecht, where more than 500 driven colleagues work on sustainable solutions for the challenges of our clients. You will join the Sustainable Living Environment team, where spatial, administrative, and organizational issues converge. Together, we work on themes such as housing, energy, mobility, nature, water, and area development.

• possesses university-level working and thinking ability

• has at least 10 years of experience within the VTH domain, the physical living environment, or public administration

• has experience with program management, advisory work, or change issues

• switches easily between different stakeholders and interests

• has a sense for administrative relationships

• sees opportunities to further advance clients and the field.
