Civil Estimator

• Education and level: mbo/hbo working and thinking level, preferably in Civil Engineering or GWW.

• Work experience: at least 2+ years of experience as an estimator or cost expert within the infrastructure sector.

• Technical knowledge: good knowledge of civil works, with a preference for experience in concrete structures and other infrastructural projects.

• You have demonstrable work experience in independently preparing cost estimates and advising on pricing matters.

• Personal and communicative skills: proactive and solution-oriented working attitude, resistant to stress, and skilled in communicating with various stakeholders such as colleagues, suppliers, and customers.

• The salary for this position is between € 4,291.63 and €6,256.71 gross per month (based on 40 hours)*, excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience.

• In addition to salary, there is a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).

• With an eye on a long-term relationship, we offer you an indefinite contract immediately.

• 43 leave days according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;

In your role as infra & civil estimator, you are not only involved in acquiring our projects, but you also play a crucial role within our construction teams. Together with clients, you give substance to the principle of 'fair work for fair money'. During the tender phase and in construction teams, you are responsible for preparing trade-off matrices and determining the correct cost price.

You are an expert in the field of both infra and civil works and know how to combine these seamlessly to optimally align the cost price and execution. Additionally, you specialize in cost prices for emission-free working and immerse yourself in modern asphalt mixtures and the associated environmental cost indicators. With your expertise, you contribute to our sustainable and innovative projects, where both the infra and civil aspects are perfectly in balance.
