At Mouwrik Waardenburg in Waardenburg, you will work on regional earthworks, road, and hydraulic engineering projects within underground and above-ground infrastructure. Think of road construction, sewerage, earthworks, paving, and asphalt laying. You will be part of a small and dedicated team where short lines of communication are a matter of course.
During this civil engineering graduation internship, you will conduct applied research that is directly relevant to our daily practice. Because we want to continuously improve, we offer an open graduation assignment with various perspectives. Depending on your interest and educational background, you will choose a topic and develop it into a concrete and applicable final result.
You will be given plenty of room for your own initiative and will work closely with colleagues from execution and preparation. This way, you learn not only how to conduct research, but also how your recommendations are actually applied within our projects.
AI Implementation
You will investigate how AI and data can be used smartly within our infra projects or business processes. Think of applications for scheduling, cost monitoring, quality control, or supporting work preparation and execution. The focus lies on practical use and feasibility for a regional contractor.
Sustainability
Within this topic, you will focus on making our working methods and projects more sustainable. Examples include reducing CO₂ emissions, circular material use, more sustainable construction processes, or the practical application of sustainability goals within GWW (earthworks, road, and hydraulic engineering) projects.
Construction Methods
You will investigate alternative or improved construction methods within earthworks, road, and hydraulic engineering. Think of more efficient execution methods, innovative work sequences, reduction of failure costs, or optimization of existing processes on the construction site.
We would love to align with your interests and talents. If you have your own idea for an assignment, we are happy to look together at where the possibilities lie.
