BIM Coordinator

• You have experience as a BIM coordinator, BIM manager, structural engineer, modeler, or in a similar role;

• You possess at least an HBO (higher professional education) level of working and thinking;

• You have knowledge of BIM processes, construction technology, and 3D-related software;

• You can translate technical subjects into a clear and practical approach;

• You are a strong communicator, enjoy working together, and dare to propose improvements.

• Preferably, you have experience with Autodesk Forma products;

• Knowledge of openBIM standards and point cloud techniques is a plus, but not a requirement;

• The salary for this position is between €5,005.37 and €7,195.22 gross per month (based on 40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience;

• On top of the salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for matters that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to CAO Bouw & Infra);

• With a view to a long-term relationship, we offer you an indefinite contract after a 2-month probationary period;

• 43 leave days according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;

As a BIM coordinator, you are the connecting link between technology, people, and processes. You ensure that BIM models are not only technically correct but, above all, contribute to a more efficient construction process. You support project teams from the design and preparation phase through to execution and help colleagues to make optimal use of digital tools.

You can regularly be found on the construction site, where you see how digital information and execution come together. Additionally, you play an important role in introducing and guiding new technologies and innovations within our projects.

Whether it concerns OpenSpace, point clouds, model coordination, or new digital applications: you help teams to deploy these innovations practically and successfully.

What you will do

• You coordinate the BIM process within residential, utility, renovation, and transformation projects;

• You establish project-specific BIM agreements and monitor compliance with them;

• You check models for quality, completeness, mutual coherence, and constructability;

• You organize BIM sessions and model checks and ensure that points for improvement are actually addressed;

• You work with specialist coordination tools to check models and make the model information insightful and applicable for the project team within Autodesk Forma;

• You support work preparers, project leaders, site managers, and estimation departments in making optimal use of digital information;

• You help project teams with document management, version control, and working according to our digital processes.;

• You guide the application of innovations such as OpenSpace, point clouds, and new digital construction methodologies;

• You translate complex technical information into practical solutions that colleagues can immediately use to move forward;

• You maintain contact with national key users within Dura Vermeer and bring new knowledge to our projects in Utrecht.
