Microsoft SQL Database Administrator

• You have a completed technical HBO or university degree (informatics, computer science)
• You have extensive experience as an MS SQL Server DBA and knowledge of multiple MS SQL versions up to and including the most recent
• As an MS SQL DBA, you have extensive knowledge of SQL Server management, monitoring, migrations, and consolidations, and can provide advice and perform various database-related tasks, such as security, performance, backup & recovery
• Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

• You possess various Microsoft certifications, including Azure, or are willing to invest in these
• You want to be involved in the development of colleagues and our community

• A permanent contract and a salary between the €4,050.- and €5,750.- gross per month (based on 40 hours per week, employment at least 32 hours).

As an experienced Microsoft SQL Database Administrator within our Microsoft Community, you will bear the substantive responsibility for complex environments for clients in the public sector, finance, and industry. You will carry out these projects in-house as part of a stable team that has been known for 20 years for its collegial atmosphere and profound expertise in MS SQL Server.

In this role, you combine the management of large-scale databases with challenging migration and optimization trajectories. You ensure the stability of mission-critical systems and work closely with specialists in SQL Server, Azure, and other related technologies. Because Azure and DevOps are central to our strategy, you will be given all the space to deepen your expertise and officially validate it with Azure certifications.

What this means for you

• You bear the substantive responsibility for large-scale Microsoft SQL Server environments for multiple clients.
• You carry out complex installations, optimizations, consolidations, and migrations in both on-premise and cloud environments.
• You are responsible for the analysis and design of database solutions
• You advise clients on changes and substantiate the impact and required effort based on your years of expertise.
• You work on the structural improvement and optimization of existing database environments, always overseeing the bigger picture.
