You know the market in West Brabant. You know where work is emerging, who the clients are, and you know what is required to build a sustainable customer relationship. At Dura Vermeer, you get the opportunity to build a region based on knowledge and relationships.
This will be your job
As an operations manager, you will become part of the South East region. The region covers North Brabant, Limburg, and part of Gelderland. Our current operations manager infrastructure focuses on the East Brabant area. You will focus on the West Brabant region, where we want to expand our projects.
You will provide direction on how we build our position in West Brabant. Which clients fit us? Which infrastructural works offer opportunities? Do we see possibilities in new markets such as the energy transition or the requirements of Defense? And what functions and expertise do we need to execute this well? You translate your market knowledge into a concrete plan for the region. You combine commercial insight and entrepreneurship with leading a team. Expanding a region also means establishing contacts, building relationships, and converting opportunities into assignments. You do this through your network and collaborations with partners. In doing so, you look at feasibility, capacity, risk, and return. You understand what you commit to commercially and what this requires in terms of capacity in preparation and execution.
From that foundation, you build the team. You demonstrate entrepreneurship by translating opportunities into concrete plans and bringing together the right people and resources to advance the West Brabant region. You are visible to your employees and manage based on safety, quality, progress, and financial results. You coordinate progress with the current operations managers and connect the development of West Brabant to the broader organization.
Additionally, you are a member of the management team and make an active contribution to the development of the region. You think along about the strategic course and making choices, stimulate innovation, and help further realize our growth ambitions. You know when to manage based on outlines and when to go into depth to ensure projects run successfully. From your entrepreneurial attitude, you actively contribute to the growth ambition of the region.
This is where you belong
You will work in the team of Dura Vermeer Infra Regional Projects in the South East region. There is plenty of room for initiative in this team, and if you have ideas, we would love to hear them! You will also get the chance from us to develop in areas where your passion lies. Our regional office is located in Den Bosch, but the region covers the province of North Brabant, Limburg, and part of Gelderland. It is a plus if you live centrally in the region, as we need you on various projects.
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can feel that. In how we work together, how we look out for one another, and how we build with an eye for future generations. Since 1855, we have been building in the Netherlands, in residential construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the basis for this.
With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we are among the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, it is not about those figures for us. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of – iconic and close to home – and contributing to solutions for societal issues.
Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with committed people. That is why we invest in good employer ship and a working environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and achieve more together with us.
