Senior Project Buyer

You have market knowledge and commercial insight, take initiative, and know how to find your way independently and flexibly. You operate at a strategic level and listen well to the wishes within the project and the organization, remain tolerant where necessary, and switch effortlessly to positive, constructive collaboration. Additionally, you are strong in planning, maintain an overview, and ensure with your support colleagues that the work is handled accurately. You love to keep your affairs strictly in order. Finally, you have the flexibility to work at various project locations in the Netherlands.

Furthermore, you have:

• HBO thinking level.
• Relevant work experience in a technical project environment in the field of civil, earthworks, or hydraulic engineering.

This is what you can expect from us:

• A gross annual salary of € 80,000.00 to € 110,000.00 for a full-time employment (40 hours) including holiday allowance.

As a Senior Project Buyer at Boskalis Netherlands, you will work in a dedicated team of seven project buyers and two support staff. After a solid onboarding period, you will take on full procurement management within projects and tenders: you coordinate and optimize all procurement activities and report directly to the project manager. Within our team, we work from the principle that collaboration, responsibility, and ownership do not lie with one person, but are carried by the entire team. You will be given space to act independently, and we expect you to actively contribute to the collective result. In this role, you will map out the needs from the Business Lines Infra, Rivers & Dikes, and Coast & Seaports, and ensure that we make the right choices together.

You will work on projects that visibly change the Netherlands and the surrounding regions, such as Knooppunt Amstel, N516 Thorbeckeweg, A2 Het Vonderen-Kerensheide, and dike reinforcement projects like the IJsselmeerdijk, Meanderende Maas, and Zwolle-Olst (IJsselwerken).
