Within Wessels Zeist, we are looking for a BIM Coordinator. In this role, you will look explicitly broader than just BIM: you will contribute to the further development and application of Digital Construction within our projects. Think of the optimal deployment and management of digital tools and platforms, such as Trimble Connect, and the connecting of processes, people, and information.

As a BIM Coordinator, you are responsible for the optimal deployment and further development of Digital Construction within our projects. You ensure that models are reliable and integrally coordinated, processes connect seamlessly, and different disciplines work together efficiently.

You work closely with our work preparers, project leaders, modelers, and external partners and act as a sparring partner in the field of BIM and digital construction processes.

Additionally, you initiate, coordinate, and provide training and knowledge sharing in the field of Digital Construction for colleagues and project teams so that knowledge and skills are structurally strengthened within the organization.

And furthermore:

Setting up and monitoring BIM processes within projects;

Drafting, managing, and maintaining BIM execution plans (BEP) and checking and merging models (e.g., with Solibri);

Translating project objectives into a workable BIM strategy;

Directing and supporting the project team in the field of Digital construction;

Identifying and resolving clashes and bottlenecks and thinking along about innovations, digitalization, and Digital Construction.
