Junior BIM Coordinator

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level in Civil Engineering;

• Affinity with and eagerness to learn about BIM, and you have knowledge of relevant software such as Revit and/or Solibri;

At Heddes Bouw & Ontwikkeling in Hoorn, as a (Junior) BIM Coordinator, you are responsible for the technical coordination of all BIM-related components in the construction process. You are the technical hub regarding the linking of building models, aspect models, and other programs. Your task is the setting up and checking of building models (model checking & clash control) and the generation of information for production. You operate as a system builder and anchor of the BIM process and, as a fellow team player, you organize the collaboration between the various parties.

As a (Junior) BIM Coordinator, you are involved in the process from the start of the construction project. Your task is to ensure the BIM process runs smoothly. Not only in the tender phase, but throughout the entire process up to and including realization. You do this by being in contact with our BIM partners, our teams, and by performing substantive checks on the models yourself. During the realization phase, you will actively engage in dialogue with fellow work preparers and site managers. You help them to use the models more intelligently, efficiently, and effectively in the execution phase.

A short summary of your activities:

• Managing and storing project information in an organized manner in DALUX.

• Preparing and checking processes, procedures, work instructions, and plans; setting up and implementing where necessary.

• Setting up and managing (2D/3D/4D) design models and drawings, including processing measurements and findings.

• Checking, testing, and correcting design models and drawings from colleagues.

• Retrieving, archiving, and monitoring data and information systems for quality and overview.

• Providing relevant information to stakeholders and managing information flows.

• Identifying developments and growth opportunities; promoting knowledge sharing within the department.
