Do you want to avoid drawing on the same project for years, but rather see many different projects come your way? As a BIM Modeller Electrical Engineering & Lighting at Frimex, you will work on shops and hospitality locations for well-known names such as Albert Heijn, Jumbo, and Pearle.
You translate electrical designs and lighting plans into models that can truly be used for on-site execution. Because of this, you quickly see what happens with your work.
Within the project team, you work together with engineers, project leaders, and work preparers. You ensure that electrical installations and lighting are developed technically well and accurately.
You will, among other things:
Modelling electrical installations and lighting plans.
Developing designs in Revit, Stabicad, and AutoCAD.
Checking and keeping BIM models and DWG drawings up to date.
Processing technical information into clear and executable models.
Coordinating with engineers, project leaders, and work preparers.
Thinking along when you see that a design could be smarter or more practical.
The most important thing? That what you develop behind your screen can actually be built well on-site.
You don't need to master every software package to perfection for us. We are primarily looking for someone who combines technical insight with accurate modelling work.
Are you currently working, for example, as a BIM Modeller, CAD Drafter, Technical Drafter, or Junior Electrical Engineer and do you want to further develop yourself in BIM? Even then, we would love to get in touch with you.
At Frimex, you don't work on one type of building or on the same project for years. Our projects within retail and hospitality follow each other relatively quickly. One time you are working on a new shop, the next time on a renovation or modification of an existing location.
That makes the work varied and, above all, very concrete: your models do not disappear into some digital archive, but are used by the colleagues who have to build them on-site.
Frimex now counts over 350 colleagues and is active within electrical engineering, refrigeration technology, climate technology, and commercial kitchen technology. The atmosphere is down-to-earth and informal. Engineers, modellers, project leaders, and execution staff work closely together, making it easy to consult and make decisions quickly.
Do you want to become better at Revit or Stabicad, grow more towards engineering, or perhaps become broader within electrical engineering? Frimex provides the space for that. We invest heavily in development and have our own modern training facilities in Moordrecht.
Frimex is part of the VDK Group, a family of independent technical companies. As a result, you get the short lines and unique culture of Frimex, backed by the knowledge, security, and development opportunities of a large technical organization.
