At least a Bachelor/HBO/Master in electrical engineering/technology & automation;
At least 5-8 years of experience as an engineer in the sector, preferably with experience in hydraulic engineering or lock construction;
Excellent communication skills;
Strong problem-solving skills;
Knowledge of construction regulations and standards;
Able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

What you'll do

Within Besix Unitec, the System Engineer plays a crucial role in realizing advanced and sustainable construction projects. As a System Engineer, you are the driving force behind the implementation of advanced automation solutions that take our projects to a higher level. For this specific project, we are looking for an engineer with experience in locks & waterways.

You will work with state-of-the-art technologies and innovations that maximize the productivity and efficiency of our construction processes. This includes designing and integrating systems that work together seamlessly, from advanced machinery to smart IoT devices and software solutions.

In close collaboration with our team of dedicated professionals, you will get the chance to utilize your technical expertise and have a tangible impact on the construction sector. You play a key role in the design process, solving technical challenges, and ensuring smooth implementation on the construction site.
