The role

As a System Engineer at Dura Vermeer Infra Landelijke Projecten, you are responsible for setting up, managing, and further developing Systems Engineering within our most complex and leading infrastructure projects, such as railway stations, the ViA15, Knooppunt Nieuwe Meer, and PHS projects.

What you'll do

You love complex infrastructure projects and know how to bring structure to dynamic environments. You coordinate the SE activities and ensure that processes such as requirements management, verification & validation, and configuration management are well-established and secured within the project. At the same time, you bring colleagues along in the correct way of working and actively contribute to their development.

You are the connecting link between technology, process, and stakeholders. Based on your analytical ability, you look beyond the standard approach: you perform analyses, align the way of working with the project goals, and provide well-founded advice to the project control manager and the client regarding the best strategic approach.

As a Systems Engineer, you do not only work within the project or tender, but you also provide direction on how we apply Systems Engineering. You play an important role in the development of the Systems Engineering field within our organization. You share knowledge, help the field professionalize further, and ensure that we continue to develop and improve as an organization. Within our large national projects, you lead junior Systems Engineers.
