As Project Director Non-Residential Construction, you step in from the tender or construction team phase and guide the (renovation) project toward realization. You are responsible for the entire project. This includes the planning, team management, contact with the client, budget accountability, coordination of the project in terms of engineering, design, and realization, and permits. In short, you bear the ultimate technical and financial responsibility and will lead the project in the right direction so that all facets can be delivered within the set timeframe and budget. The projects are primarily located in the Randstad area.

• Based on the determined strategy, you define the project policy at the start of the project and devise how to bring it to a successful conclusion;
• You coordinate, lead, and—together with the team—ensure thoughtful engineering, preparation, procurement, and a tight realization process;
• Depending on the type of project and/or the specific client request, you are already involved from the design stage. Relevant (design) experience in a design process is a plus;
• You are the pivotal figure in the internal structure of the project. Thus, you are in regular contact with the engineering department, planning & methods, and estimation to achieve both project and process optimization;
• You conduct negotiations with construction partners, advisors, suppliers, and subcontractors;
• You maintain relationships with the client and other involved parties and stakeholders;
• You are responsible for the quality and follow-up of the project execution;
• You support and motivate a proactive safety culture; you play an exemplary and driving role in this;
• You are digitally savvy and support and motivate the use of tools such as BIM;
• You intervene in technical problems and adjust course where necessary;
• You are a team builder and coach for young and enthusiastic colleagues in your team;
• Finally, you evaluate and report internally regarding project progress and communicate on a regular basis;
• You report to the Operations Manager Buildings
