You work safely, think ahead, and don't let a malfunction drive you crazy; you keep searching until it is resolved

As a Maintenance Technician, you are the one who ensures that everything keeps running. No hassle, no downtime—you make it happen. You keep our installations in top condition and ensure everything keeps running, safely and reliably.

No two days are the same, and that is exactly what makes your work varied and challenging.

What you'll do

Maintaining machines (including two particle accelerators) and resolving malfunctions before they become a problem
Searching for the cause of malfunctions yourself
Wrenching, repairing, and adjusting machines where necessary
Calibrating installations and checking if everything is still running neatly within specs
Working safely and ensuring that everyone else does too
Guiding external technicians, after all, you know how it's done
Thinking along regarding improvements: what can be faster, smarter, and better?
Creating clear work instructions so that everyone knows what they are doing
Sharing your technical knowledge with colleagues, just practically and straightforwardly.
