Are you an experienced geotechnical engineer with a passion for complex infrastructural projects? Do you want to work on leading projects such as Knooppunt De Nieuwe Meer, Krammersluizen, ViA15, and A27 Noord? Then we are looking for you!

As a geotechnical engineer, you are an indispensable link in the design and execution process of infrastructural projects. You are part of the Dutch team and work closely with colleagues from the engineering department in Brussels. You combine technical expertise with practical applicability and are responsible for translating soil investigations into safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions. Your activities are both advisory and executive in nature and cover the full trajectory: from the tender phase to execution and aftercare. You contribute ideas regarding innovative solutions, sustainability, and risk management within the geotechnical domain.

In this role, you will be involved in, among other things:

• - Geotechnical engineering for both offshore and onshore applications.
• - Drafting and interpreting soil investigation programs.
• - Soil-structure interaction, including FEM analyses.
• - Stability analyses of slopes in temporary and permanent situations.
• - Design and analysis of retaining structures such as sheet piles, retaining walls, ground anchors, etc.
• - Foundation engineering and dewatering technology.
• - Drafting geotechnical models and risk analyses.
• - Assessing settlements, stability, and bearing capacity of the subsoil.
• - Drafting geotechnical reports and assessment documents.
• - Supporting execution and tender teams with technical input.
• - Coordinating soil investigations and monitoring programs.
• - Contributing to knowledge development within the team and mentoring juniors.
• - Identifying optimizations and innovations within the field.
