Infrastructure Design Lead

• At least a completed HBO degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 - 8 years of relevant work experience within civil infrastructure.
• Experience with BIM processes and relevant design software.
• Knowledge of integrated contract forms such as UAV-GC, Design & Construct, or similar contracts.

• A gross monthly salary of € 5,500.00 to € 7,500.00 based on full-time employment (40 hours).
• 26 vacation days based on full-time employment plus 4 to 6 collectively designated free days per year. Additionally, you can purchase extra vacation days.
• An electric lease car or an mobility budget of at least € 1,065.- gross per month based on 40 hours of employment.

From the Amstel junction and the A2 Vonderen-Kerensheide to the redesign of the Thorbeckeweg N516: as an infrastructure design lead, you provide direction to projects that make the Netherlands and Belgium future-proof.

At Boskalis Netherlands, you work on complex infrastructural and hydraulic engineering projects where technology, collaboration, and innovation come together. You are the one who sets the design course, connects specialists, and ensures that designs are realized within scope, planning, quality, and budget. As an infrastructure design lead, you work within the Design Department of Boskalis Netherlands. Here, we provide full design expertise for tenders and projects with an integral and multidisciplinary character. You work alternatingly from our offices in Papendrecht and Rotterdam and at project locations, so that you actually see the design come to life outdoors.

• You are the first point of contact within projects for the design of civil structures and infrastructure.
• You determine the design strategy and translate this into clear frameworks for scope, planning, quality, and budget.
• You lead multidisciplinary design teams, including structural engineers, modelers, geotechnical advisors, water management specialists, and paving and greenery advisors.
• You monitor progress, prepare reports, and advise on deviations, risks, and contractual issues.
• You liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering firms, and take ownership of the integral design result.
