The role

Are you a modeller with an eye for detail and a heart for civil structures? Do you get energy from the technical elaboration of designs into accurate 3D models? And do you enjoy working on projects with social impact, such as bridges, pumping stations, sewage treatment plants, quay walls, and underpasses? Then you might be the modeller we are looking for in our Civil Structures team at Aveco de Bondt.

What you'll do

As a Civil Structures Modeller, you will work together with structural engineers, project leaders, and fellow modellers on the design and elaboration of structural solutions within large and small infrastructural projects. You are responsible for modeling structural components in 3D and preparing clear and executable drawings. You have an interest in and experience with collaborating in cloud environments, and point clouds are also not unfamiliar territory for you.

You make use of modern design software such as Revit or Tekla Structures, and work according to the BIM methodology on integrated projects where technology, safety, and sustainability come together. There is a lot of variety in the work. Think of a wide range of civil projects such as quays, tunnels, foundations, underpasses, pumping stations, energy stations, and concrete or steel bridge structures. Both new structures as well as (modifications to) existing civil structures belong to our portfolio.

This is what you bring

A completed MBO, HBO, or WO education in the direction of Civil Engineering or similar.
Experience with Revit or Tekla Structures (or willing to learn this quickly).
Affinity with concrete and steel structures within civil engineering.
Accuracy, eye for detail, and technical insight.
You work in a structured manner, are eager to learn, and are a true team player.
