Senior Manager Learning & Development

• At least 9 years of experience within Learning & Development.

• HBO+ or WO working and thinking level.

• Demonstrable experience in developing learning strategies, programs, and development paths.

• Experience with organizational development, leadership development, and talent development.

• Experience in managing L&D professionals.

• Knowledge of digital learning, learning technology, and AI.

• Experience within a knowledge-intensive environment, such as professional services, consultancy, accountancy, or law, is a plus.

• Strong advisory skills and experience with stakeholder management at a senior level.

Not someone who manages an existing training agenda, but an experienced L&D professional who wants to build the future of learning, development, and performance within an ambitious, knowledge-intensive organization. Someone who understands that sustainable growth occurs when professionals continue to develop and maximize their potential. You report to the Chief People Officer (CPO).

As Senior Manager Learning & Development, you provide direction to the development of our professionals, leaders, and teams. You develop the L&D strategy, translate organizational goals into concrete development initiatives, and ensure that these actually deliver results.

In doing so, you build upon a solid foundation. Baker Tilly already possesses an extensive technical curriculum, an online learning platform, and successful initiatives such as our Summer Campuses. The challenge lies not in starting from scratch, but in further strengthening, renewing, and connecting what is already in place.

You lead a small team of L&D professionals and are simultaneously actively involved yourself in designing, advising, and implementing learning solutions. You move in an environment with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders, where you both advise and dare to think critically about the best development solutions.

• You develop strategy and learning solutions. With this, you optimize learning paths, curricula, programs, and development initiatives.

• You advise and challenge. Together with stakeholders, you investigate what the underlying issue is, in order to subsequently advise on the most effective solution.

• You innovate and look ahead. You investigate how AI, learning technology, and digital learning solutions can strengthen learning within Baker Tilly and what is happening with our competitors.

• You lead and collaborate. You further develop the team and create focus, ownership, and collaboration with the rest of the HR team and consultants from Bureau Vaktechniek.

• You make impact transparent and measurable. You make transparent how learning interventions contribute to behavior, performance, and organizational goals.
