You have a passion for data and get energy from providing structure. You are analytically strong, see opportunities in continuous improvement, dare to take initiative, and know how to bring stakeholders along in this.
In addition, you have:
Completed HBO/WO degree in Business Information Management, Computer Science, Data Management, Business Administration, or similar.
At least 2 years of experience with data governance, data management, or data quality.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality management (certification in this is a plus)
Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and data classification.
Insight into data architectures, databases, reporting, and analysis environments.
Knowledge of privacy, security, and compliance legislation, including GDPR and AI-related regulations.
Experience with data governance tooling.
Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.

Your challenge
You ensure that data is reliable, consistent, and accessible. You develop and monitor frameworks for data governance, improve quality even further, and ensure that definitions and responsibilities are clearly established. In doing so, you work closely with data owners, product owners, analysts, IT specialists, and compliance experts. Additionally, you independently monitor the optimal balance between data usage and governance. Thanks to your connecting role, colleagues can rely on the right data and utilize it optimally for better decision-making.
Developing, implementing, and monitoring data governance guidelines and standards.
Advising stakeholders on data usage.
Providing knowledge sharing, training, and adoption regarding data governance.
Setting up and managing metadata, business definitions, and data lineage.
Monitoring and improving data quality within the organization.
Identifying and resolving data quality and governance issues.
Supporting compliance, audits, and laws and regulations such as GDPR and AI-related guidelines.
Contributing to the governance of AI models and AI agents.
Help build the data foundation of Baker Tilly.
