What we're looking for

Mbo 4+ / hbo working and thinking level, preferably in a technical or civil direction.
3+ years of relevant work experience in execution, civil engineering, infrastructure, or a similar environment.
A proactive and solution-oriented attitude, with an eye for safety, quality, and collaboration.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and the ability to effectively involve various stakeholders.
Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
Available at least 4 days per week.
Preferably residing in the Northern Netherlands, as the projects take place primarily in this region.

What you'll do

As a Supervisor at Arcadis, you will work on challenging projects in the Northern Netherlands in the fields of energy, infrastructure, and water. You are responsible for the daily execution on-site and ensure that projects are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule and quality requirements.

An important part of your work consists of projects for NAM within the long-term SITURN program, in which Arcadis collaborates with NAM and WellGear. Within these projects, we work on the decommissioning and restoration of former gas production sites. This includes industrial cleaning, the demolition of above-ground gas installations, the remediation and restoration of production sites, and the removal of underground gas transport systems.

Additionally, you may be deployed on civil projects for, among others, water boards and municipalities. This involves, for example, quay reinforcements and construction and residential lane projects, where various disciplines within Arcadis collaborate on design, research, preparation, and execution.

Role responsibilities

Coordinating daily activities at the project site.
Acting as a point of contact for clients, partners, and other involved parties.
Monitoring the schedule, progress, and quality, and making timely adjustments where necessary.
Directing the execution in close cooperation with project management and work preparation.
Supervising safety and health at the project site.
Participating in construction and work meetings.
Handling daily project administration.
Identifying and implementing improvements and innovations to execute projects smarter, safer, and more efficiently.
