IT Internship

Are you looking for a challenging IT internship where you can put your technical knowledge into practice and further develop yourself? At Cefetra in Rotterdam, we have an internship position available from February 2027 for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn IT student.

As an IT Support Intern, you will become part of the IT team and support colleagues with their daily IT questions. You will be the first point of contact for users and help solve technical problems, both remotely and on-site. This will give you a good insight into how IT support works within an international organization.

During your internship, you will be involved in, among other things:

• Providing first-line IT support and resolving hardware, software, and network problems;

• Managing user accounts, passwords, licenses, and devices;

• Installing, configuring, and issuing laptops and mobile phones;

• Registering and following up on incidents and requests via the ticketing system.

In addition, you will work together with experienced IT specialists on projects regarding infrastructure, workplace management, and process improvement. Through this, you will not only develop your technical skills but also learn how IT makes an important contribution to the daily operations within an international trading organization.

During your internship, you will also become acquainted with the technologies and systems used within our IT environment. You will work with Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server for managing users, devices, and applications. Additionally, you will gain experience with Cisco Meraki for network management, Citrix for virtual desktops and applications, VMware for virtualized server environments, and TeamViewer for remote support.

This will give you a broad view of both modern cloud solutions and traditional IT infrastructure.

You are curious, service-oriented, and energized by solving technical challenges. You take initiative, enjoy working with others, and are not afraid to take responsibility.

Additionally, you possess analytical and problem-solving abilities, good communication skills, and are flexible and reliable. Ideally, you recognize yourself in the following:

• You are currently following an MBO education towards ICT, Informatics, System and Network Management, or a similar program;

• You have an affinity for IT support and system administration;

• You are eager to learn and want to gain practical experience within a professional IT environment;

• You possess basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and networks;

• You can work both independently and in a team;

• You have a good command of both the Dutch and English languages.
