Water Optimization Project Leader

As a Water Optimization Project Leader, you will work together with our clients on a well-substantiated and feasible design and contract. You will achieve this in close collaboration with the other IPM roles and specialists from various disciplines and teams. You will work on both medium and large-scale projects, where you are responsible for the following aspects:

• The design process (from VO to UO)
• The execution contract (specifications, UAV-gc, construction team, etc.)
• Drafting (design) notes
• Coordination of conditioning
• Quality assurance of products
• Consulting with and managing specialists

Within our Integrated Project and Programme Management (IPPM) Business Unit, we execute projects in all phases: from exploration and design to realization and management. In doing so, we work together with and for the government, contractors, and project developers. Examples of recent projects we are working on include:

• Dijkversterking HWBP Sprok - Sterreschans - Heteren (SSH) - Waterschap Rivierenland.
• Dijkversterking HWBP Salmsteke - Schoonhoven (SAS) - Hoogheemraadschap De Stichtse Rijnlanden.
• Natuurontwikkeling Krimpenerwaard - Provincie Zuid Holland.
• Gebiedsontwikkeling Schiphol Trade Park - GEM A4 Zone West C.V.
• Additionally, it is also possible to develop yourself internationally, but most projects take place in the Netherlands. There are also many opportunities in training and education, and there are networks to meet other Arcadians and learn from the beautiful projects we do.

We are looking for our team in the western Netherlands (Amsterdam / Rotterdam region) for a team player who wants to grow into a responsible (technical) role within our projects. You move easily within a large network organization and excel in communication and flexibility. You contribute to knowledge sharing within Arcadis and work accurately and independently.
