As a Real Estate Advisor at Arcadis, you will work on challenging projects together with an enthusiastic team of experts and provide support for diverse issues in the fields of land matters, rural real estate, and area development. You will deal with projects that contribute to a more sustainable living environment, such as the redesign of rural areas, nature development, infrastructural projects, and urban expansions. The focus of your activities will be in the provinces of Noord-Holland, Friesland, Flevoland, Utrecht, and Zuid-Holland.

Your duties as a real estate advisor include:

• Preparing appraisal reports for real estate in rural areas;
• Supporting land acquisition projects and preparing negotiations;
• Advising clients (such as governments, companies, investors, etc.) on land matters, ownership issues, and legal aspects;
• Maintaining contacts with landowners, tenants, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders.
• Drafting various agreements and contributing ideas for strategic advice.

You will work closely with experienced land managers, legal experts, appraisers, and planners, so that you can develop yourself into a fully qualified professional in the field.

For this position, we are looking for an enthusiastic starter who wants to develop themselves within the field of real estate expertise. Do you recognize yourself in the following?

• You have completed a HBO or WO degree in, for example, Real Estate & Brokerage, land management, urban planning, or a similar study;
• Affinity with real estate, land matters, and spatial development;
• Preferably, your roots lie in the rural area and you have a sense of what is happening in your living environment and in the agricultural sector:
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude;
• You are a team player, but can also work independently;
• You are eager to learn, solution-oriented, and show initiative;
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (such as Expropriation Law, the Environment Act, and Tenancy Law) is a plus, but not a requirement;
• A B driver's license is a plus, as you will regularly need to be at locations in the rural area.
