Arup's Technical Specialist Services team in Amsterdam is known for its leading contributions to innovative, high-profile, and highly sustainable projects such as the mass timber skyscraper HAUT, Stadstheater Arnhem, Lochal Tilburg, museum Voorlinden, museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Habitat Royale, and Echo Delft. As a junior acoustic consultant, you will work in a diverse and energetic team fully committed to innovation and development. You will be involved in both purely acoustic and multidisciplinary projects. Within these, you will find variety between residential construction, commercial real estate, cultural projects, urban planning analyses, and industry. You will have a role in the Dutch team, which consists of experts in acoustics, fire safety, building physics, lighting design, and sustainability. Additionally, you will maintain close contact with the international Arup network of acoustic and AV experts within Europe and even worldwide. In your role, in collaboration with juniors, mid-levels, and seniors, you will be responsible for providing and optimizing acoustic advice. Our acoustic work relates to topics such as room acoustics, building acoustics (sound insulation), environmental noise, industrial noise, installation noise, and more. Within Arup, we enrich our advice using auralizations, in-depth simulations, visualizations, and AV expertise.
