For the fulfillment of the breast imaging fellowship, we are continuously looking for enthusiastic candidates.
What you'll do
As a fellow, you will work within breast imaging at least half of the time, and it is possible to participate in general oncological diagnostics within a second area of interest of your choice.
In our institute, there is intensive collaboration with surgeons, radiotherapy specialists, medical oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians, pathologists, and nurse practitioners, and you will actively participate in various MDTs.
Additionally, there are multiple second opinion clinics per week, and in the Center for Early Diagnosis, there is a daily GP clinic for rapid diagnosis and a screening clinic for women at increased risk. All common modalities, including MRI-guided biopsy and breast CT, are available. In this position, you can deepen your knowledge in all areas of breast imaging.
Why the AVL?
At the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, we all commit to the same goal: the best care for every patient and every type of cancer. That is no small feat. But not impossible.
