Clinical Chemical Analyst

• You have completed an MLO and/or HLO education in clinical chemistry
• You have knowledge of relevant work processes, quality systems, and advanced analytical equipment and information systems
• You are accurate and result-oriented and have a great sense of responsibility
• You are a team player who can also work well independently
• You have strong communication skills and are proficient in the Dutch language, both spoken and written
• Willing to work in 24/7 shifts.

Clinical Diagnostics SCAL is a laboratory specialized in clinical chemistry in the Netherlands. Together with Alrijne Zorggroep, as of July 1, 2024, in addition to medical microbiology, we also carry out the services in the field of Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Blood Transfusion for Zorggroep Alrijne. Combined with the services for primary care pathology, Clinical Diagnostics realizes an integrated and future-proof offering of diagnostics for primary and secondary care in the Leiden region.

As a clinical chemical analyst, you will work in an exciting field that is constantly evolving. In this position, you will perform a wide range of clinical chemical determinations using advanced analytical equipment. Together with your colleagues in the team, you are responsible for the clinical chemical diagnostics for the patients of the Alrijne hospital.  

You are an experienced clinical chemical analyst with demonstrable expertise in one of the analytical areas of clinical chemistry. You will be co-responsible for the entire process from sample receipt to the reporting of results. Additionally, you will assist in drafting procedures and work instructions for our quality system (ISO15189) and contribute to the development, validation, and implementation of new test methods. In addition to performing routine analyses, you also perform routine and preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment. You coordinate daily activities and are the first point of contact for your fellow analysts.
