Civil Engineering Internship

At Antea Group, as an intern, you will contribute to projects in the outdoor environment: from the first shovel in the ground to the final completion on site. You have one foot in execution and the other in organization. An educational internship where you don't stand on the sidelines, but truly participate. During your internship, you will be fully involved in the execution of civil engineering projects. As an assistant civil engineering site manager, you will support the site manager/project manager in our projects. This primarily concerns the realization of civil and environmental works where soil protection and soil remediation play an important role. The projects include, among others, the construction and repair of soil-protective facilities such as liquid-tight paving at environmental stations, gas stations, waste processors, or (chemical) industry. You will support the making of schedules, quality control, managing subcontractors, and placing orders. As an intern, we give you the space to discover where your strengths lie, and who knows, you might even start your career with us after your internship.

• Assist in the coordination and planning of activities on the construction site;

• Think along about the execution and the solving of practical issues;

• Support in managing crews and subcontractors;

• Monitor quality, safety, and progress;

• Maintain contact with colleagues, suppliers, and site managers.

• In short: you learn how outdoor projects truly come to life.

• You are following an MBO level 3 or 4 course in Civil Engineering (or similar);

• You are in your final phase or are looking for a working or graduation internship;

• You easily take responsibility and ask questions;

• You have a practical mindset and think in solutions.

• Experience is not required. We find your motivation more important.
