What we're looking for

WO work and thinking level;
At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role;
Demonstrable experience in successfully leading multiple projects simultaneously;
Strong organizational, communicative, and stakeholder management skills;
Analytically strong and able to support decisions based on data and facts;

Nice to have

Affinity with technology, product development, and production environments;
Experience within a technical or industrial environment is a plus;
Basic principles of battery technology and the battery production process is a plus;
Willingness to follow training and courses for the further development of project management skills;
Willingness to travel occasionally;
Self-starting, result-oriented, and able to bring people along in change.

The role

Your role

What you'll do

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the successful realization of diverse projects within VDL MIC. This varies from smaller internal improvement projects with a lead time of a few weeks to large-scale development and industrialization projects where new products, processes, or production lines are realized.

You ensure that projects are executed within the agreed objectives regarding quality, planning, budget, and scope. In doing so, you collaborate with internal disciplines, customers, suppliers, and external partners. You bring structure, monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure effective collaboration between all parties involved.

Additionally:

You lead multiple projects simultaneously in different phases of the project process;
You draw up project plans and monitor your planning, budget, risks, and actions;
You maintain and build a network with key stakeholders both inside and outside the organization;
You collaborate with partners on effective project management where transparency, progress, and collaboration are guaranteed;
You know how to create support for new ways of working and processes;
You organize and facilitate an effective consultation and communication structure within projects;
You report progress, risks, and escalations to management and clients;
You contribute to the further professionalization of project-based working within VDL MIC.
