Senior Project Manager

• Demonstrable experience with (ICT) project management in dynamic organizations

• Knowledge of and experience with various project management methods such as Prince2, Prince2 Agile, AgilePM, PMBOK, IPMA, etc.

• At least 7 years of relevant work experience as an (ICT) Project Manager, of which at least 5 years in project management within business or financial services.

• Experience in promoting and professionalizing project management is a plus

As a Project Manager, you are the connecting factor between strategy and execution. You lead complex projects from A to Z and ensure that ideas are actually realized. Think of new propositions, implementations, system integrations, and organization-wide improvement trajectories.

You work at the intersection of business and IT and have a direct influence on how healthcare organizations can work more efficiently and smarter. Concrete plans with visible results that truly benefit both the organization and customers.

You start your day with a cup of coffee and a short chat with your fellow project managers. Catching up, having a laugh, and going through your email. After that, you quickly dive into the content: a meeting with the steering group of a new CRM project is on the schedule. You present where the project stands, ensure everyone remains focused on the goals, you call attention to risks and mitigating measures, and provide a look ahead at what is coming. Back at your desk, you work out several actions and coordinate via email and short calls with stakeholders. Not long after, you are at the table with the management to discuss a new initiative - strategic, challenging, and exactly what gives you energy. After a nice lunch, you take a walk, play a game of table tennis, or step into the racing simulator with colleagues. After that, it is time to switch gears again: together with your project team, you work on a connection between the software practice package from Vertimart, which runs at the dentists, and Infomedics for the benefit of the billing process. You maintain an overview, help solve bottlenecks, and ensure the team keeps moving forward. Then you look at what is on the program for next week and whether everything has been prepared.

At the end of the day, you clear some more emails, check your schedule for tomorrow, and close down. Ready for another day full of dynamics, collaboration, and results.
