Junior Project Manager

As a Junior Project Manager, you are a central link within innovative IT projects for large national and international organizations and public institutions. You connect different areas of expertise, support project management, and help teams to further improve service delivery to customers. You will work from Utrecht, at the client's location, and from home, and you will further develop your skills in project and service management under the guidance of a senior colleague.

In this role, you will work on:

• Coordinating and structuring project activities, in close cooperation with senior engagement managers, project managers, service delivery managers, and consultants.
• Maintaining contact with customers and following and sharing the latest developments within the project.
• Managing budgets, providing structure, creating schedules, and coordinating tasks within IT assignments in, among others, government, financial services, and energy.
• Expanding your responsibilities step by step, with room to manage your own teams and specialize within project management.

You have:

• A completed HBO or WO degree, preferably in IT or (technical) business administration.
• Organizational skills that you have utilized during, for example, work alongside your studies, plus experience with project-based working.
• General knowledge of IT and an interest in the way technology aligns with the wishes and requirements of customers.
• Strong social, communicative, and analytical skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to address colleagues in a constructive manner when activities are not proceeding as planned.
• Good oral and written command of Dutch and English due to the international nature of the clients, and the willingness to learn how AI can enhance your expertise and activities.

You will become part of a project management team within Capgemini. From this team, you will work together with, among others, service delivery managers, project managers, engagement managers, and consultants. That mix of expertise gives you the opportunity to acquire new knowledge every day and discover your own direction within project management.

You will work on assignments for large organizations and public institutions and receive guidance from a senior colleague. Additionally, you can make use of hundreds of trainings and courses, participate in networking events, and share knowledge via the NextGen EM program. As a professional at the beginning of your career, you can also join Young Capgemini and other sports and social communities.
