Commercial Project Manager Civil

You are someone who sees where work is emerging before it appears on the market. You know the players, understand the challenges, and ensure that Antea Group is at the table at the right time. Antea Group is looking for a Commercial Project Manager Civil.

In the role of Commercial Project Manager, you will take the lead in innovative civil engineering projects with social impact. You move easily at both strategic and tactical levels and know how to translate commercial opportunities into concrete, successful realization projects. You actively build your network and know how to use this effectively to secure new collaborations and complex, innovative projects. You are a strong interlocutor for clients and position Antea Group as a partner. After acquiring a project, you remain ultimately responsible for the realization of the projects. You manage finances, contracts, and quality, and guide projects from the design phase through to the management phase. Throughout the entire process, you maintain close contact with clients and adjust where necessary to achieve the maximum result.

You lead complete project teams and act as a connecting link between project leaders (operationally responsible), specialists, and clients within the Realization Business Line. You stimulate collaboration, ownership, and quality within the team and know how to inspire people to achieve the best result together. The relationship with the client is based on trust, open communication, and a shared ambition to realize projects sustainably and successfully.

The ideal Commercial Project Manager Civil is someone who maintains an overview and has the ability to make choices. Additionally, he or she possesses a connecting and persuasive way of working. Furthermore, the ideal candidate: 

• Has an existing network fitting within one or more focus areas, namely Area Development, Energy Transition, Asset Management; 

• Works on the basis of relationships and not on public tenders;

• Has more than 10 years of work experience in infra, technology, or construction; 

• Is commercially strong and able to generate work independently;

• Has the ability to activate latent customers in a market with low active mobility;

• Has a vision on the market and how to develop a healthy portfolio and acquire projects;  

• Has insight into administrative relationships and decision-making.
