Project Coordinator Civil Engineering Projects

• mbo or hbo work and thinking level, preferably in civil engineering, earth, road, and hydraulic engineering (GWW) or similar;

• At least 2+ years of work experience as a project preparer or project coordinator in civil engineering or earth, road, and hydraulic engineering (GWW);

• You have demonstrable work experience in independently realizing the preparation, guidance, and execution of complex projects in technical and organizational areas;

• Experience with RAW and UAV-GC contracts is a plus;

• The salary for this position is between € 4,291.63 and € 6,256.71 gross per month (based on 40 hours)*, excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience;

As a project coordinator, you will work on groundbreaking projects at Dura Vermeer. You are co-responsible for the civil engineering portion of various framework and/or maintenance agreements in our region. As a project coordinator, you are responsible for the preparation, guidance, and completion of various civil maintenance projects in the region, such as: ROGO Amsterdam and RCP Haarlem, multi-year maintenance contracts for the maintenance, replacement, and/or restoration of (monumental) artworks, quays, and banks. Long-term Asset Management assignments such as 'Gebiedscontract Kop van Noord-Holland', where we handle management and maintenance for the Province of Noord-Holland.

In maintenance, the emphasis of preparation lies on planning and organizing rather than on technical aspects, although experience with maintenance work is certainly a plus. You are responsible for the preparation of multiple projects simultaneously. In this role, you will guide less experienced project preparers when requested and support the project manager. Together with our purchaser, you will procure materials and the right specialists and ensure they are present on time. You handle scheduling, planning, and provide input for permit applications. During the project, you monitor progress and check that the correct inspections are carried out. Additionally, you support the project manager with the financial monitoring of the projects. In combination with the project manager, you will work as a team to ensure the realization of a well-streamlined project.
