An inspection report provides insight, but does not always offer immediate direction. You bring change to that. As an Asset Management Advisor at Antea Group, you combine technical knowledge with a strategic vision and advise on the most effective measures for management and maintenance. In this way, you support clients in making well-founded choices for the long term.
Dutch infrastructure faces a major replacement and maintenance challenge. Bridges, quay walls, locks, and other civil structures are aging, while requirements for safety, availability, sustainability, and affordability are increasing. This requires more than just knowing the technical state of an object. It requires advisors who understand what this information means and help clients make well-founded choices.
As an Asset Management Advisor at Antea Group, you connect technology, data, and the client's challenge. You look beyond the immediate question, develop scenarios, and make it clear which choices are needed today for a safe and future-proof infrastructure. In this way, you grow into a trusted in-house advisor for municipalities, provinces, Rijkswaterstaat, and other managers.
What will you do as a Civil Asset Management Advisor at Antea Group?
Thinking along about safe, sustainable, and efficient solutions;
analyzing complex issues and weighing different interests;
advising clients on maintenance and replacement;
collaborating with various technical specialists;
working with data and new technologies;
translating strategic plans into concrete activities.
You will become part of our national Asset Management advisory group. Within the team, inspectors, data analysts, technical advisors, management advisors, and project leaders work closely together. This allows you to combine specialist knowledge and support clients across the full breadth of their challenge.
You work for and with, among others, municipalities, provinces, Rijkswaterstaat, and other infrastructure managers. In doing so, you are not just a supplier of a report, but a partner who thinks along, looks ahead, and takes responsibility for actionable advice.
An example of a challenging project is the Amsterdam Bridges and Quay Walls Program. Many of these bridges and quay walls are tens to hundreds of years old and play a crucial role in the accessibility and safety of the city. As these objects age, managers face important choices: where are short-term measures needed, which investments have priority, and how do you ensure a future-proof approach?
In this challenge, together with colleagues, you map out the technical state, risks, usage function, and costs of various measures. You analyze data, develop scenarios, and translate complex issues into clear advice. By working closely with clients and stakeholders, you help in making well-founded choices and determining the right priorities.
In this way, you not only contribute to the maintenance of essential infrastructure, but you also make a real impact on the livability, safety, and accessibility of a city like Amsterdam.
