Fiber Optic Installer Schiphol

As a Fiber Optic and Data Technician at Allinq, you will contribute to the installation, maintenance, and improvement of fiber optic and data networks at Schiphol. You will learn the trade from experienced colleagues and support activities that are essential for a safe, stable, and future-proof network infrastructure.

In this role, you will develop the technical skills needed to work on fiber optic and data networks step by step in a dynamic environment. You will support patching, cable pulling, the mounting of conduits and cable trays, and the installation of patch cabinets. Additionally, you will help with testing and measuring connections and troubleshooting faults. You will work on and around Schiphol and participate in various shifts (morning, evening, and night).

These are the most important tasks for the Fiber Optic and Data Technician:

• Patching and connecting fiber optic and data cables.

• Pulling cables and mounting conduits, cable trays, and patch cabinets.

• Testing and measuring connections to ensure quality.

• Installing network equipment and checking connections.

• Supporting the detection and resolution of faults.

You are eager to learn, technically interested, and practically minded. You work accurately and have an eye for quality and safety. You enjoy working in a varied, technical environment and communicate pleasantly with colleagues.

What we ask of you:

• You have at least a completed MBO level 3 education (for example, in the direction of ICT).

• Demonstrable work experience in the telecom industry is a plus.

• Flexibility for irregular shifts.

• Working meticulously from a customer perspective is in your genes.

• You are ambitious and want to develop yourself and learn about the techniques used at Schiphol.

For employment, successfully completing a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct) and VGB (Security Clearance) application is necessary.

• A salary between €3,146.- and €3,651.- based on 38 hours, according to the CAO Kleinmetaal en Techniek.
