For this position, the salary is between € 3500 and € 4500 gross per month (based on full-time employment), excluding holiday allowance. We determine the exact grading based on your knowledge and experience. This position falls under the CAO Metalektro.
Furthermore, you receive 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days per year (with full-time employment), holiday allowance, travel allowance (23 cents/km), and a good pension scheme.

About us
Damen Shiprepair Amsterdam repairs various types of vessels up to a length of 250 meters. The shipyard in Amsterdam Noord is characterized by a strong and driven team of people who all share the same passion for ship repair. Hard work is done here, but there is also plenty of laughter.
At the shipyard, we have a workforce consisting of about 25 different nationalities. Additionally, we constantly have other ships at the shipyard. This brings different types of projects, tasks, and customers each time and ensures a dynamic workplace where no two days are the same.

What you'll do
The role
As an Electrical Installations Technician, you are responsible for solving faults on various installations at our shipyard. From cranes and pump installations to compressors and distribution boards. The ships being docked are connected to shore power, but other equipment such as welding machines and hand tools also fall within your area of work. In addition to identifying faults, you also carry out the necessary repairs.
Key accountabilities
Maintaining equipment and checking for wear, breakage, and safety;
Complying with regulations and procedures regarding safety, occupational health and safety, and the environment;
Ensuring reporting on performed activities;
Solving faults both mechanically and electrically and, in consultation with your supervisor, involving third parties if a fault is too complex.
