A completed MBO education level 2, 3, or 4;
Diplomas from recognized training programs in the field of fiber optic technology;
Available at least 32 hours per week;
You possess a driving license (category B);
Flexibility: sometimes there are also duties outside of day shifts and on weekends (naturally for a nice allowance!);
You are deployable nationwide and willing to occasionally work fault-repair and night shifts.
A one-year contract, with the prospect of a permanent contract thereafter;

The role of Fiber Optic Technician offers you the chance to enter as a technician within the versatile world of rail infrastructure! Your activities consist mainly of the new construction and expansion of telecom and network installations on and around the tracks. Think of data and fiber optic networks at stations and in technical rooms along the railway.
You are responsible for the termination and measurement of various fiber optic and/or copper networks, the commissioning and takeover of data connections, and you work on various local network installations such as CCTV installations.
You work at project locations throughout the country, together with a fixed team for different project teams and projects. In short: plenty of variety, both in the work and in the colleagues you work with!
